Vintage W&S Blackinton Silverplate Shell Serving Tray, Scallop Shell Hors d’Oeuvres Server, Sauce Bowl and Cocktail Pick Holder

A wonderfully unusual vintage silverplate serving piece by W&S Blackinton, designed in the form of an oversized scallop shell.

The deeply fluted shell forms the main serving tray, accompanied by an attached round bowl and small cup, perfect for serving cocktail bites alongside a sauce or dip and cocktail picks. A handle at the back makes the entire piece easy to carry from kitchen to table.

The sculptural shell form gives this piece just the right amount of whimsy while the aged silver finish keeps it feeling collected rather than kitschy. Especially lovely for a cocktail hour, seafood spread, holiday table, or displayed among a collection of vintage silver.
